Adult Fellowship Opportunities

New to Knox

This class is a great way for new members or visitors to learn about our John Knox family!!  It is held several times a year, often as a part of WNL programming for adults.  One of our pastors will guide the class through the beliefs and background of the Presbyterian tradition as well as the many exciting opportunities here at John Knox.

Presbyterian Women

PW circles at John Knox meet monthly for Bible study, service, and fellowship. During the year PW members enjoy special gatherings, mission opportunities, and social activities. All women of the church are invited to attend PW circles and activities.

Mens’ Ministry Opportunities

Men’s Ministry is expanding with more weekly small groups!  Come join in with other guys!  More weekly small groups have formed since the April Men’s Friday Night event with Robert Noland.  He has developed this 3SG model at least three men in a small group based on Ecclesiastes 4:9-10, 12:   Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their work: If one falls down, his friend can help him up. But pity the man who falls and has no one to help him up!. . . Though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves. A cord of three strands is not quickly broken. ( NIV)If interested, contact Maury Purcell (maury@charronbleachers.com, 616-9699).

For current opportunities and information check the website.

Every winter John Knox has basketball teams for all ages of children, youth and adults.  Semi-annual golf tournaments are also enjoyed at John Knox.  On Tuesday nights, we offer an evening of co-ed volleyball.   In the summer, we offer a basketball camp for K5-Grade 5.  These are great ways to get exercise and have a lot of fun at the same time.
