Forward in Faith Capital Campaign

John Knox Presbyterian Church is currently participating in the Forward in Faith Capital Campaign. John Knox has a history of meeting the demands of progression that are the result of being a vibrant, growing congregation of service and mission.

The Forward in Faith Capital Campaign has a goal of $3 million and is the most ambitious capital campaign in the history of our church. This campaign consists of two phases and will last over the next three years and will allow us to renovate our buildings and grounds, replace the HVAC and retire past debt.

The money raised in this campaign will help us better serve our church members and the Lord now and in the future through worship, study and fellowship. To learn more about the specifics of the campaign and our church history, browse the Forward in Faith brochure.

All the answers to questions you may have about the Forward in Faith Capital Campaign are included in the Frequently Asked Questions document

You can also download a copy of the Prayer Calendar and use it as a guide during the Forward in Faith Capital Campaign. Set aside a time each day for you and your family to read the Scripture for the day and say a prayer. The capital campaign prayer calendar runs from April 6 to May 3.

Everyone is encouraged to prayerfully consider what might be an appropriate gift from your family. Donations can include money, stock, and other appreciated assets. If you are considering donating stocks, please call the church office (864.244.0453) to discuss with Brett Simmons.

If you are providing your commitment via a check or paying through bill, please provide a separate check from your normal offering and put “capital campaign” in the memo line as well as include your giving number in the account number for the check.

A celebration of our commitment to the future of John Knox will be held on Sunday, May 4. Pledge cards will be collected this day but those interested in making advance commitments may do so as well.

Each person should give what he has decided in his heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.

II Corinthians 9:7
