“Generation after Generation”

Women’s Retreat

Saturday, February 24, 2018

from 9 am - 2 pm

Across each generation are life experiences that shape our attitudes, values and perspectives. Everyone has a story, and every story matters. Understanding and appreciating what each generation offers builds stronger relationships, communities and families of faith.

On February 24, speaker, author and generations expert Jessica Stollings will explore what’s unique to each generation and teach us how to relate, value and connect to one another despite differences. All the changes in society over the last century means each generation has grown up in a vastly different world, resulting in social and cultural distinctions we don’t always recognize. These differences are reflected in a spectrum of attitudes, communication styles, and expectations that can lead to conflict despite the best intentions.

The “Generation after Generation” Women’s Retreat is the first step to bringing us closer and bridging the gap between generations. The day will include a keynote from Jessica, small group discussion, interactive activities, music and lunch. Child care will also be provided at no additional cost.

Please join us and invite your neighbor, friend, sister, daughter, mother or grandmother to a day of discovery, growth and fun. Together we will learn how to draw on our collective strengths to cultivate stronger relationships that create a better home, church and community.

Online registration can be found here.

“Generation after generation stands in awe of your work; each one tells stories of your mighty acts,” (Psalm 145).

About the speaker:

Jessica Stollings is a national speaker, author, blogger, and the President of ReGenerations, an organization that unites generations to build a better future. Her vision for ReGenerations was inspired by her personal journey as a 30-something navigating the real world, her professional endeavors in leadership roles at a national nonprofit and a Fortune 500 company, and mounds of research that told a story she felt compelled to share.

Jessica’s passion (besides coffee) is making sure there is clear understanding and communication between everyone -- from high school and college students to the generation of parents and grandparents. Management teams, pastors, policy groups and educators across the country have invited her to speak at conferences, trainings and retreats and implemented solutions around her ideas.
